In 2002, we assembled some like-minded friends together to create our own wine. The initial attraction came from the quality of fruit in the Mudgee region, and the availability of Louisa’s vineyard as a supplier. Louisa’s has provided ‘super premium’ grapes to local wineries for years. Finding a local winemaker to develop this supreme crop into the best wine possible was the next challenge.

The enthusiasm of a small group of wine investors led to the development of Simply Shiraz. Having these investors would enable the group to achieve better buying power for fruit and consistency with our winemaker. The resulting product has exceptional quality, and priced in the $20-$30 bracket.

The whole point of the exercise is to attract people who love both the process of making wine, and enjoying the end product. We want you to enjoy the premium red with friends. You can discuss how well you know the grower & winemaker, you were there when the grapes were picked, sampled and bottled, maybe you even labelled a few yourselves!
